Our Format
We have seven dancing events each year (October through May with the exception of January), generally on the first Saturday of the month.
We use a number of different local dance bands to provide our music, and all of them play what is best described as “strict tempo” dance music. The bands play a variety of songs, and the dance card includes Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Cha Cha, Polka, Merengue and Viennese Waltz.
We dance from 8-11pm, with a 30-minute intermission at 9:30, with refreshments and a short program, and sometimes a short business meeting.
We also sometimes have pre-dance events at members’ homes, such as wine and cheese parties, as part of our getting to know you programming. At all events, we request formal attire (tuxes for men and long dresses for ladies), to add a touch of class to our evening of dance.

Our Member Profile
Our club is not a venue for professional dancers or dance competitors. We are a club of couples who simply enjoy ballroom dancing and socializing. Most of our couples remain members for years and demonstrate a wide range of dancing skills – beginners, intermediates and beyond. Our number one goal is to make everyone comfortable and enjoy dancing.
